Dish may be a viable alternative, however in speaking with others in my community and reading on the internet, Dish seems to have many similar problems.

Here are a few problems I have both heard and read:

*Service interruptions during rainstorms
*Price bait & switch
*unresolved equipment problems
*Two year contract; this is the overwhelming reason we have not switched as I am not about to lock into a contract for two years with a company that may be no better than Charter.

I have read/heard that the customer service at Dish is not all that good either, but not to the level of Charter’s extremely rude/arrogant customer service and Obamanite lack of honesty/integrity. Frankly being better in customer service than Charter is not much of an accomplishment.

I personally am considering cutting the cord altogether and use streaming internet, Netflix and other options.

Rather than deal with companies like Charter, Cablevision etc., take a look at DISH network.
